This talk introduces a co-segmentation approach based on comparing hierarchical image
representations. Beside a recently established application in cell tracking, this approach has further applications in co-localization studies, as they naturally occur when dealing
with bi-label or multi-label fluorescence microscopic images. Finally, a related
classification problem for vibrational spectroscopy imaging is discussed.
